New yoga class in Trowbridge
Updated: Feb 2, 2020
After a year break, KarmaTree is back! Following on from the success of our previous sessions, it’s time to create a sustainable yoga community.
Marc at KarmaTree is starting a donation-based yoga class at Trowbridge town hall with the intention of making yoga accessible to all. The health and wellbeing benefits of yoga are endless, ranging from improved flexibility, strength, and energy through to manifesting a more mindful approach to life.
Marc’s training in Pranayama Sadhana yoga emphasises the use of yogic breathing to accompany yoga postures and meditation. This practice encourages ultimate relaxation through fully utilising the lungs and provides techniques to help manage stress.
In a fast-paced world full of distractions it’s easy to forget to look after ourselves. The KarmaTree class provides a safe and nourishing environment to practise self-care, tuning into our inner power, and to connect with others. Beginners through to experienced people are invited along.
We have decided to run a donation-based class in order to appeal to a wider audience and will be grateful to those who can help cover the costs of the venue and to make this class available to everybody in our local community.
In the future, KarmaTree hopes to link up with more teachers and venues to expand this provision into a monthly timetable of classes and workshops and to provide a wellbeing hub to anybody who is interested in teaching, sharing and practising yoga.
The first class will be held on Sunday 9th February at 6pm. Please wear comfortable clothes and bring a blanket and mat if you have them. We look forward to seeing you there.
